The 13th edition of “Pune Book Fair” was held between 9-13 November, 2014 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Nehru Stadium. Indialogue Foundation, Mumbai Branch participated Pune Book Fair. Pune Book Fair was inaugurated by Mr. Sham Agarwal Editor-in Chief of Aaaj ka Aanand.
Shri Narendra Pathak Chief Manager, Marketing & Publicity, Bank of Maharashtra, Smt. Dr. Madhavi Vaidya President of Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, P.N.R.Rajan Convener of Pune Book Fair and Vasant Joshi were present in inauguration. The event was co-sponsored by Maharashtra Sahitya pPrishad, Pune and Bank of Maharashtra.
Mr. P.N.R.Rajan convener of Pune Book Fair welcomed the guest and briefed about the exhibition.
Mr. Agarwal said “Books are always best friends, increase knowledge and give happiness in the life. Print and electronic media should give good coverage of Book Fair news to increase the reading awareness among people. Madhavi Vaidya said “parents should encourage children to increase the reading habits.”
Pune Book Fair had displayed 67 stalls put up by renowned leading publishers, Booksellers, organizers and service providers from all over India and other countries. Books on Technology, Health, Management, Education, Business, Law, Religion, Politics and Literature were available in different languages at these stands.
Indialogue Foundation stall displayed the books on Religion, Philosophy, Peace, Love & Tolerance, Inter-Religious Dialogue, Dialogue Studies, Women and Family. Indialogue Foundation stall was visited by great number of book lovers, intellectuals and academicians.
