Indialogue Foundation hosts a delegation from the United States and Austria

A delegation led by former State Senator from Arizona, Mr Steve Farley, was hosted by Indialogue Foundation in an effort to promote intercultural dialogue and to showcase Indian hospitality and its rich intellectual, linguistic and religious traditions.

Other members of the delegation from the US were Ms Kitt Helene Leonard and Mr Mertkan Murt. They were joined by social worker Ms Antje Haussen Lewis from Austria.

During the one-week trip, they visited many historical and touristic destinations, including the Taj Mahal and Agra Red Fort in Agra, Lotus Temple, Humanyun Tomb, Qutub Minar, Akshardham Temple and Gandhi Smriti in New Delhi, and Golkonda Fort, Hussain Sagar Lake and Charminar in Hyderabad.

In Agra, a reception was organised in their honor at the Sheroes Hangout Cafe in Agra where they interacted with the victims of acid attacks.

They also attended a graduation ceremony for Indialogue Foundation’s certificate course in Dialogue Studies in Noida and handed over the certificates to the successful course participants.

Senator Farley delivered the special address at the event and spoke about the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding in the contemporary world while congratulating both the participants for undertaking the course and Indialogue Foundation for organising it.
