HYDERABAD: Prof. Bahattin Adam the Vice Chancellor of Mevlana Rumi University, Konya, Turkey visited Hyderabad city. VC was accompanied by Dr. Indrani Kalkan, Associate Professor of Health Sciences who is of Indian origin and lecturing in Mevlana University. Prof. B. Adam with Indialogue team visited University of Hyderabad and met the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy. If Turkey has Mevlana University so does India, the Maulana Azad National Urdu University. Meeting with Vice Chancellor and senior professors of MANUU ended with exchange of pleasantries and collaborative ideas.
Besides visits and city tour, Indialogue Foundation hosted an interactive dinner in honor of with Prof. Bahattin Adam and Dr. Indrani Kalkan. The interaction hoped to explore academic opportunities between Universities and to exchange opinions on higher education systems. Vice Chancellors, Senior Professors, Head of Departments from various universities of Hyderabad attended this dinner. Prof. B. Adam has invited guests to visit Konya City and his University.
Though Mevlana Rumi University is newly found it outstands with existing infrastructure facilities, academic insight, foreign collaborations, teaching standards and as well future courses that it wants to undertake. http://www.mevlana.edu.tr/
